Salsa Summer 2008

Summer SalsAmigos Classes

Dance twice a week and work on style and technique.  Plenty of opportunities to perform, and just get your groove on with some great salsa dancing!

Tuesdays & Fridays June 10th – August 8th, 2008
$100 for the summer
Classes will be held at September School in Boulder, 19th & Canyon
End of Summer Performance Saturday, August 9th
    Invite friends and family to check out your style and sass at this end of summer    Rueda de Casino salsa performance. 

Group 1   3:00 - 4:30 pm (Fridays, 30 min of rehearsal with the Salseritas performance group)
Experience Required.  Need to have completed at least one SalsAmigos rueda de casino session to participate.  Expect emphasis on style and uniformity in the circle, will work on retaining moves and choreography.  After this summer – you will be eligible to join the Salseritas (salseritos if we get some guys!!!) performance group.  Group 1 will be fun and fast paced.  Get ready to shake it, and really salsa like a super star!!!   

Group 2   1:30 – 3:00 pm
No Experience Needed – Get an introduction to the Rueda de Casino salsa circle.  Work to performance level – focus on uniformity in dance style in the group.  Learn moves in lead and follow positions.  This class will move fast and be tons of fun.  Be prepared for a challenge that will get you moving this summer!!!
